Fair comes first

Originally the rating system was intended as a means of feedback for our contestants. But the harsh reality of the contest was that some pictures were rated poorly, which from a quality point of view should have been rated a lot higher.
That is why we have decided, that in addition to the choice of favorites by the community, we'd like a jury to make the final decision and choose a winner.
For the contest "winter fairy tale" we will be giving out a jury prize. In future your votes will pick the 8 best entries, which will then be presented to the jury. We will allow only one picture per contestant into this final challenge. We are hoping this will make the arbitrary depreciation of contest entries even less attractive.

The jury will comprise a professor of photography, a photographer and a graphic designer. The jurors will be portrayed at a later date.

We would be very happy, if you continued to mark out pictures of high quality with your votes. You are helping participants by providing valuable feedback on their work. Thank you for participating and making this a pleasant experience for everybody.
