My name is Philipp Schmittem.
At the grand old age of 79, I'm still on the lookout for some great snapshots.

^®claryl: did you come up with the idea of entering this photo on the theme of 'Soccer'?

PS: This was just one of the photos I took while on vacation in Weil am Rhein during the Soccer World Cup.

^®claryl: Why did you decide to take part in the competition?

PS: I'd heard about the Claryl photo competition and just decided to give it a go.

^®claryl: What is it about photography that you enjoy so much?

PS: I'm an enthusiastic amateur and often take my camera out and about with me.

^®claryl: Which photo will you be having framed?

PS: I've chosen a picture of my wife and daughter.
